Podium Finish for Smoknya Motorsports in Pro Pulling Action!

(August 12, 2017) Erik Stacey and the Smoknya Motorsports pulling team returned to the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League tour over the weekend.

Thirteen Super Stock Diesel trucks entered the two-day Hillsboro Charity Tractor Pull in Hillsboro, WI. On Friday night - with a distance of 300.80 in the pulloff - Erik landed a third-place finish behind Brad Deeter (Oversize Load) and Don Bowling (Pulling for the Cure).

In round number two on Saturday night, Stacey pulled a distance of 304.03, which positioned fifth in the final rundown.

Smoknya HD Doubles Up in NTPA Grand Nationals Action

(August 5, 2017) The Smoknya Motorsports pulling team entered a pair NTPA Grand Nationals events over the weekend.

Fifteen Super Stock Diesel trucks traveled to Mount Sterling, IL on Friday night - where Smoknya HD managed a thirteenth-place finish in the final rundown.

The action shifted to Salem, IL on Saturday night where another field of fifteen entries had assembled. Erik Stacey bettered his earlier performance - finishing eleventh in the final rundown.

Stacey Enters NTPA Grand Nationals at Fort Recovery

(July 29, 2017) Erik Stacey and the Smoknya Motorsports pulling team entered the NTPA Grand Nationals event at Fort Recovery, OH on Saturday night.

Fifteen Super Stock Diesel trucks entered the event at Ambassador Park. At the conclusion of the event, Erik placed tenth in the final rundown.

Smoknya Motorsports Returns to Pro Pulling Action

(July 15, 2017) The Smoknya Motorsports team returned to the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League tour on Saturday night.

A band of fifteen Super Stock Diesel trucks converged on the Marshall Putnam County Fairgrounds for "America's Pull." At the conclusion of the event, Erik Stacey placed ninth in the final rundown.

Smoknya Motorsports Travels to Tomah, WI

(June 23, 2017) The Smoknya Motorsports team resumed competition this week with a visit to Tomah, WI for a National Tractor Pullers Association (NPTA) event.

A strong field of sixteen Super Stock Diesel Trucks registered for the Friday night's event. When the dust settled, Erik Stacey and Smoknya HD placed twelfth in the final rundown.

Thursday's program fell victim to Mother Nature.

Top Five for Smoknya HD in Wagler Competition Pull

(June 10, 2017) The Smoknya Motorsports pulling team returned to action over the weekend for the Wagler Competition Pull in Elnora, IN.

A stout field of seventeen Super Stock Diesel Trucks registered for the opening round on Friday night. Unfortunately, mechanical struggles would result in a a disappointing fourteenth-place finish.

On Saturday night, Erik and Smoknya HD would pull the sled a distance of 316.61 feet to register a fifth-place finish. Justin Gearhart in Cream of the Crop would take home the win over Kent Crowder (Scheid Diesel), Chris Ryan (Big Bad Dodge), and Cody Hastings (Against the Grain).

Smoknya HD Kicks Off 2017 at Rudy's Diesel Spring Opener

(April 29, 2017) Erik Stacey and the Smoknya Motorsports team kicked off their 2017 campaign on Saturday night at the Rudy's Diesel Spring Opener at Piedmont Dragway in Julian, NC.

Eleven, Super Stock Diesel Trucks registered for Round No. 1 of the event on Friday night. When the dust settled, Smoknya HD took home a third-place finish behind Van Haisley (Rock Hard Ram) and Chris Ryan (Big Bad Dodge).

On Saturday night, Erik and Smoknya HD would pull the sled a distance of 332.09 feet for a fifth-place finish. Justin Gearhart in Cream of the Crop would take home the win over Van Haisley (Rock Hard Ram), Kent Crowder (Scheid Diesel), and Chris Ryan (Big Bad Dodge).
